I am still homesick. At the same time, I am learning to appreciate the beauty of northern Nevada. Emeline is growing taller and smarter every day. She loves to count to two, sing along with her cartoons, chase the dog outside, and be mama's and daddy's "helper."
Recently I went to the doctor and found out I am allergic to wheat. How inconvenient is that? I feel so much better now, though. This is a time of experimenting to find out how to bake tasty things without the wheat.
Gene talked to our credit union and they won't consent to a home loan until both Gene and I are working. I'm looking for a job to help pay for school; there is a phlebotomy course that looks promising.
That sums it up, for the moment.

How strange! I know a few people who found out they have a wheat allergy. It definitely makes things more complicated.
It's a good thing that Emeline is smart and beautiful. Otherwise the quirks in her personality might not be as tolerable. Just imagine if she were dumb and ugly! lol
