Tuesday morning at the IHOP in Carson City, a man shot and killed 4 people, and injured more. He sprayed bullets everywhere, and it amazes me more people weren't hurt by all the stray bullets.

I take Emeline to the McDonalds next door to play when we shop in Carson City. Last Friday we went to the Kohl's next door for my birthday shopping. It is also very close to where my husband works.

I am so thankful we were not anywhere near there Tuesday. And I am so, so, so sad for the people who were.

This isn't Vegas or L.A. or even Reno. These things shouldn't happen here. There are always exceptions to the rules, it seems.
