Nothing ruins a week like stomach flu running rampant through the whole family! I feel very guilty because Monday I was unable to do much for Emeline other than change her diapers (ick.) and give her food and beverage. Nothing else! Not even much supervision. Think of all the trouble she could have gotten herself into.
What do moms do when they get sick when they have little ones? This is the first time being really sick without family around. I was so blessed not to get sick much while she was little, especially while so colicky.
Ugh! It's an awful feeling knowing I can't be there for her 100% of the time.
Everyone is doing better thankfully, just a fever that won't quite go away. Sickness is such a hassle.
And yes, she is still in diapers. She likes to sit on the potty and will use it, but not consistently yet. She completely dashed all my hopes of early and easy potty training.

There is nothing worse than being incapacitated by sickness. I completely feel like mothers should not be allowed to get sick...especially when the children they are in charge to care for are sick, too! It should be a law of the universe. But thank goodness for tv and movies. The times that I've had the flu/stomach flu, but still had to care for my kids, they watched a lot of movies. Some days are just going to be like that. Some days you just have to survive! haha
